FILTREXX LIVINGWALLS & GREAT RIVERS GREENWAY FREE COURSE
Earn up to 3 PHD Credits by attending "Designing Living Retaining Walls" course.
Filtrexx® LivingWalls™ division and Great Rivers Greenway present the FREE COURSE "Designing Living Retaining Walls" on May 26, 2016 (8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at Great Rivers Greenway Offices in St. Louis, MO (6174 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112).
Living wall projects are designed to be “green” infrastructure projects that enhance the environment while stabilizing a slope. The “green” part of the design gives the structure a unique ability to treat stormwater in a vertical prairie, reduce the heat island effects of a hard surface wall and provide green habitat for birds, insects, worms and other species that help promote a healthy environment in a community.

ABOUT GREAT RIVERS GREENWAY
In the year 2000, the people of the greater St. Louis area voted to create Great Rivers Greenway. By exercising their voice and their vote through Proposition C, the residents of the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County invested in a special sales tax to make the St. Louis region a better place to live with clean water, safe parks and community trails. In 2013, the taxpayers in St. Louis City and County invested in this mission once again with Proposition P, which again funded parks and greenways, as well as the CityArchRiver Project.
