FILTREXX RESOURCES

Filtrexx is the industry leader and a global advocate in performance based sediment and erosion control resources and practices.
As the inventors of the compost filter sock, we have seen the impact of our Soxx™ technology in diverse stormwater management, sediment and erosion control applications. We continue to push the limits of our technology and our sustainable solutions portfolio continues to evolve, based on theoretical and applied research.
Our goal is to foster collaboration with the engineering and construction industries to embrace a fundamental commitment and shift from to BEST Management Practices (BMPs) to SUSTAINABLE Management Practices (SMPs). Until now, decisions about erosion control have been widely based on cost rather than best performance and sustainable practices. We are dedicated to challenge established, cost-focused Best Management Practices with our Soxx technology. We are passionate about sharing the impact our technology has brought to the sediment & erosion control, stormwater management, living walls and gardening industries. We'd like to share the learning path we've taken and help our customers understand the impact our technology can have on a wide range of projects. We created this library of resources as a medium for sharing our research and general knowledge about stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, pollutant removal and living walls applications. Let us collaborate on your next project and share the exceptional performance and real value of our Sustainable Management Practices.
BMP COMPARISON
Performance of sediment control barriers is an increasing concern to designers, regulators, and contractors. In order to evaluate the sediment control performance between various sediment control barriers, these practices must be subject to the same standardized testing procedure or evaluated in controlled side-by-side testing. See side-by-side comparisons using third-party research findings.
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS & CADs
We provide FREE access to our Filtrexx Design Manual. Our database includes product specifications, installation guidelines and recommendations, as well as Computer-Aided Design (CAD) files for over 25 applications. Engineers, designers and installers rely on our Filtrexx Design Manual to evaluate our products and find best suitable solutions.
FEDERAL AND STATE APPROVALS
Filtrexx® products meet or exceed all specifications required in Best Management Practices (BMPs). In fact, Filtrexx research was used to develop most of the specifications for compost filter sock used by Federal, State, and local agencies. View the entire list of approvals we have obtained.
PRODUCT LITERATURE
View or download our latest catalogs, brochures and literature that cover all of our sustainable technologies. From bank stabilization, filtration systems, channel protection and rain gardens to living walls, green roofs, inlet protection, perimeter control and more, learn about our Soxx technology and its impact on diverse applications.
RESEARCH LIBRARY
The Filtrexx Research Library contains research, both published and
unpublished, on the performance of compost filter sock for sediment

WORKSHOPS & TRADE SHOWS
Lunch & Learn sessions, round tables, seminars and educational sessions, you name it. We put ourselves out there to share our sustainable technologies with erosion & sediment control engineers, landscape engineers & designers, architects, department of transportation (DOT) and other industry professionals. Or, let's meet at at one of many industry conferences and trade shows to discuss your project.
WEBINARS
Filtrexx offers FREE webinars on diverse topics throughout the year. We share how compost-based Erosion and Sediment Control Best Management Practices (BMPs) can dramatically reduce sediment and target invisible pollutants in stormwater runoff, as well as a series on Living Walls, Retaining Living Walls and Green Roofs. Attend a live broadcast and earn a Certificate of Attendance worth 1.0 Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit.
