Filtrexx® offers a wide range of Soxx solutions for bioswales applications. Bioswales are defined as landscape elements designed and engineered to reduce silt, pollution and other particles from stormwater runoff. They are usually permanent, vegetated, shallow landscape depressions or channels where stormwater is directed, slowed, filtered and partially absorbed. Bioswales improve water quality because they help infiltrate the first flush of stormwater runoff and filter the subsequent flows of water they convey. Our Filtrexx Bioswale system combines infiltration, biofiltration, and flow velocity control mechanisms to reduce stormwater pollutant loading and flow surges to receiving waters, infiltration areas, and containment systems. This Low Impact Development (LID) management practice combines the benefits of organic matter, vegetation, and proprietary additives (optional) to physically and chemically (ionic adsorption) filter stormwater pollutants. Our GroSoxx® is an ideal alternative to help control stormwater, while promoting vegetation growth in places requiring green areas. We can also incorporate pollutant removal additives with our EnviroSoxx® product portfolio, where different types of mesh, additives and media can be customized for every project.
